Lockheed: Senate Panel’s Cut Could Hurt F-35

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. – The U.S. Senate appropriations panel's recent move to cut 10 F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighters from the 2011 defense spending bill could have a “very serious” impact on the fighter program, Tom Burbage, F-35-maker Lockheed Martin's executive vice president for the F-35, said this week.
