Silk Road may come back

The chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, presented prospects of reviving the ancient Silk Road to the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, on Oct. 15. “Your political support and the roads the OIC will open for us are of utmost importance. We attach great significance to the cooperation between the OIC and TOBB,” he said.
