U.K. Report Blames MoD for Higher Program Costs, Delays

LONDON – Increases in the cost of the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier and the Typhoon combat aircraft programs are responsible for a 3.3 billion pound ($5.3 billion) rise in the cost of Britain's top 15 defense projects over 12 months, the government's National Audit Office (NAO) says in a report released Oct 15.
